The Jungle Book

In the jungles of India an orphaned human infant named Mowgli is taken in by a wolf pack at the request of the black panther Bagheera. As Mowgli grows up with his canine family he finds that he has a lot to learn about life in the jungle – and Bagheera and the brown bear Baloo are there to teach him. But he will soon have to face the threat of the tiger Shere Khan and his minions who are his sworn enemies. There are adventures, excitement and the glorious beauty of the rainforest in this engrossing tale inspired by the world-famous collection of stories by Rudyard Kipling. But there is something else too: the mystery of Mowgli’s origins and humanity. Where does he come from? And where does he truly belong?
